Date and Time:  May 23, 2018 at 6pm (Trivia Game begins at 7:15pm)
Location:    Superfine, 126 Front St, Brooklyn
        Located just over the Manhattan Bridge. Public transportation: A/C/F
Tickets:    $50 Ticket includes 2 drinks and assorted appetizers.
       100% of proceeds go toward serving the students of Unity Preparatory Charter School

This Year’s Fundraising Goal: $10,000 for Arts at Unity High

Unity Prep is excited to be hosting its 2nd Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser in order to raise money to support arts programming in our newly secured high school building. The school will be relocating from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn to a newly renovated building at 295 Front Street in DUMBO in the near future.

Our goal is to raise $10,000, which will allow us to offer a top-notch arts program to the students of Unity High School, and we will need your help in doing so! So grab your family, friends, and colleagues, form a team of 3-6 people, and come join the fun on May 23!

Why Attend?

Our high school has an inadequate physical space right now and the students, parents, and staff of Unity High are very excited to be moving to a new facility in the near future!

We want to ensure that these students and teachers – who have sacrificed over the past 2 years in an overcrowded building with hardly any windows, no gym, and no auditorium – will now have state of the art facilities and materials for the remainder of their high school career!

In particular, proceeds from Trivia Night will support arts programs typically found at elite public and private schools, with an emphasis on giving Unity a “digital edge.” Some examples:

– Film Making – Mac laptops equipped with latest film editing -software and some equipment for shooting films
– Visual Arts – Laptops and software for digital editing
– Hip Hop Music Production – we would like to install a “studio” in our new building with the requisite hardware and software.
– Theatre – lighting and sound equipment for dance recitals, school plays, etc.

We thank you for your support in ensuring that Unity students have abundant opportunities and a truly comprehensive education while maintaining the non-traditional concepts that our school is built on. We can’t wait to see you there, and sincerely appreciate your generosity!
