Unity School Closing

Dear Unity families,

We hope this message finds you well.

Unity leadership is aware of this evening’s announcement from Mayor De Blasio and Chancellor Carranza that all NYC Department of Education schools will be closed through April 20th. In light of this announcement and the evolving public health crisis we are facing, we are considering the best course of action and may very well follow suit.

An update on Unity’s school closure timeline will be provided within 24 hours. Any additional updates regarding Unity’s remote learning plans and policies will also be shared early in the week.

Breakfast and lunch will be available at every NYCDOE building (including PS44) from 7:30am – 1:30pm through grab-and-go meals tomorrow, March 16th.

We know the current state of affairs is a difficult and challenging one for all of our Unity community. We are grateful for the ability to partner with all of you to ensure that our students continue to learn and develop to their fullest potential during this difficult time.
