The Unity Scoop – February 9
Dear Unity Families,
I hope you’re having a great weekend! It was wonderful to see so many Unity family members in the stands at the Barclays Center yesterday for the Student vs. Faculty basketball games. Thank you for coming out, and a special thanks to Mr. Coleman and Mr. Egharevba for organizing such a fun event for our staff, faculty, student-athletes, and families.
Looking ahead to the coming week, we have an exciting lineup of events, including:
• A Family Ambassadors Meeting
• A college trip for Unity High’s art students
• A middle school dance
• 8th-grade portraits
• Several athletic teams matches
Additionally, middle school students will be dismissed at 1:15pm on Friday before we begin February winter break. High school students have a full day of classes.
In this edition of The Unity Scoop, we:
• Spotlight students with stellar attendance for January
• Share action photos from yesterday’s games at Barclays Center
• Highlight students and staff wearing red in support of Heart Health Awareness
Enjoy your Superbowl Sunday!
In unity,
Josh
